Accessibility

The site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. Every page works with a keyboard, has a skip link and visible focus, and keeps its text readable at 200% zoom. Diagrams are decorative drawings with a written caption next to them; the audit figure has a full text equivalent.

Motion

The story’s maps and paper sheet move as you scroll, and the hero sheet leans toward your pointer. If your device asks for reduced motion, motion starts switched off. You can change it here or in the header at any time; with motion off, each chapter shows its own still map or drawing beside the text.

There is no autoplaying audio, flashing, forced scrolling or simulated migraine effect anywhere on the site.

Presentation mode

Presentation mode moves only when the presenter chooses: use the Previous and Next buttons, or the left and right arrow keys when focus isn’t inside a control or the map.

Privacy

No accounts, no forms, no trackers. The map never asks for your location.
